For 150 years this building was a Methodist Chapel and later a chapel associated with St Mary's church at Norton. It's early history can be found under the 'Religion' tab, Methodist Chapel.
Having stood empty, unused and derelict for years by the 1990s the chapel building was in a poor condition. In October 1991, Norton Church PCC applied for planning permission from Tewkesbury Borough Council for alterations and extensions to chapel to provide a dwelling and it has since been renovated and is back in use as a house.
In 2002 the residents were Kevin, Bronwyn J and Rebecca Townend.
